Hello, I'm Gina! I am a 26 year old traveling therapist who has always loved fitness but has not necessarily loved eating healthy. I used to be that person who could eat whatever they wanted, workout and have no issues. Then things started to slow down and my poor eating habits really started to limit my fitness progression.
Discipline has always been a core part to how I live my life. In college, I worked full time while attending school and lived every single day by a schedule. I was always goal oriented and never let a challenge prevent me from accomplishing my goals. The same went with any interest I had from learning to surf, rock climb, bungee jump and kayak. I am someone that fears no obstacles, welcomes a challenge and is willing to do whatever it takes to accomplish my goals.
Healthy eating and fitness go hand and hand. Until recently, I was not willing to accept that I had to change the way I ate. Then I became discouraged, I was working out twice a day but not making any progress. Finally, I accepted it was time to change my lifestyle but knew I had to be realistic or I would fail. I am someone that loves sweets, loves to snack and is not big on meal planning. Then I took the plunge and completed the 21 Day Fix. It truly has changed the way I eat, workout and live my life.
Because of the positive changes I have accomplished, I now strive to help others who also struggle with health and fitness. I do not believe in starvation, I do not believe in cutting out everything one enjoys. I believe in moderation, I believe in balancing nutrition and fitness, and I believe in working hard to accomplish goals. There are no excuses because discipline is the bridge between goals and accomplishments.
