This past weekend I had the pleasure to attend the Pittsburgh Super Friday/Saturday celebration and training. Not only did I get to listen to our CEO Carl Daikeler speak about his passion to help others but I also got to listen to my favorite trainer Autumn Calabrese talk about her new program. This was just the start to something amazing that was brewing.
Saturday we spent the morning listening to top coaches talk about crucial moments in their lives and businesses that really pushed them to achieve their goals. The first speaker was my personal team leader and I cannot explain how great it was to see someone I personally know talk about her journey. Confidence is key in life and it can be something that people feel limited in having. I know how hard it can be to be confident when life keeps beating you down. Sometimes you have to fake it until you make it. When you tell yourself positive things, you truly can turn your life around.
The morning continued with the other top coaches continuing to speak personally about their lives and what it took to get there. All of the struggles themselves and their families have endured. When you see successful people, you never know what it really took them to get there. Just because you see someone smiling, at the top moments in their life, does not mean you know what they are going through and what it took to achieve those goals.

I left the training Saturday feeling more motivated than ever. I made a new life plan for 2015 completely focused on success, achieving my personal and professional goals and achieving my goal weight. I want to make the most out of this year. I want to be the best me I can be. I do not want to change, I want to improve.
I spent the car ride home Sunday reflecting on my last year of constant struggles and my fight to find myself again, to battle the depressed state I fell into and be the positive person everyone knows me as. I thought about every moment that was crucial to my battle, the lowest moments I had and how I reacted to them. I looked back and realized that year set me up for success. That may seem crazy but it truly did. When you have lost everything that brought you stability, when you feel at your lowest and you have the most wonderful group of people aiding you to conquer life you cannot help but succeed.
I love the opportunity to grow as much as I want in all aspects of my life. Today my motivation comes from the amazing leaders of my company showing me you can do anything you put your mind to. Monday is just the beginning use it to your benefit!
