Work For It Wednesday: 10 Tips to Improve Your Life

Everyone knows life can be tough, it has a way of throwing things our way that make us question the journey we are on. Sometimes we lose sight of our goals and why we work so hard. I have found as I have worked to become a better person it is important to find little ways each day to improve my life. Here on some tips I have found that are useful:

1. Start by cleaning the clutter out: Start organizing your daily space, make it easier to find your keys or your phone. When you organize your space, you waste less time searching for things and your stress level lowers.

2. Surround yourself with progress: Make lists, everyday I make a list and separate it into order of importance. This way I always feel in control and have a plan. Also, by doing things by level of importance if something comes up and throws my day off at least I know what is a necessity.

3. Empty your email: If you find you have subscribed to a million websites and all you do is spend time deleting the emails before you read them then clean it out. You will stop wasting time and lower your stress levels.

4. Become an early riser-YES I SAID IT WAKE UP EARLIER- I started by waking up early enough to just get my workout in. Then I started waking up even earlier to sit down and eat my breakfast while I read. By waking up earlier, you enable yourself to have more time for yourself and spend less time in chaos.

5. Make a good first impression- Research shows that in the first ten minutes of meeting someone we determine how we feel about them. So, even on your worst day, put a smile on your face.

6. Leave work at work: Don't bring the stress from your job home. I know I struggle with this because it is hard to leave the job behind. But it can seriously limit your ability to focus if you cannot leave your day behind.

7. Slowly end your procrastination- Stop waiting and start acting. The faster you get things done the more time you have to do the things you enjoy. Most of the time, the longer we wait the more we have to do and the stress piles. Avoid the pile up and get things done on time.

8. Eat slower....yup take time to enjoy your food, sit down, relax, eat.

9. Make purchases by research- A lot of stress comes from finances. SO! Do your research, look around for things via apps like Retailmenot that way you always get the best deal, save time and save money.

10. Workout reguarly- Yes working out builds endorphins which research has been proven improves your mood. Not only does it improve your moood but will improve your overall health negating yourself from being more at risk for some diseases.
